We live in interesting times.
Times of great crisis are also times of great opportunity.
To take advantage of that opportunity you may have to pivot
But one thing is for sure
More and more people will want to take their businesses online.
That means the experienced service provider, coach, consultant or expert will be even more in demand in his/her particular field of expertise.
Yes… they will still think their lack of sales is due to a lack of traffic…
Yes… they will still be obsessed with getting more traffic.
They want to talk about their ads…
They want to talk about targeting…
They want to dive into settings…
And they will still live in hope that once they have discovered some kind of ninja secret, sales will magically appear!
But the truth is … there is no ninja secret.
Their Ads are not the problem.
They don’t need more traffic.
The real issue is more fundamental.
Fact is… Traffic is not the issue here. The real issue ie that they need high quality leads who are ready willing and able to become buyers.
Fact is… There is one simple strategy which has been around since the dawn of time that attracts, engages, motivates and inspires people to achieve superhuman results (and become clients).
Fact is… There are two things that set homo sapiens apart from other animals.
The first is that we have the power to imagine things that don’t exist.
The second is that we can all tell powerful stories.
No other animal can do these two things.
The first allows us to dream big dreams like landing a man on the moon or building a reusable rocket. And the second allows us to inspire people to believe that we can make those dreams a reality and that they should believe them too.
We may live in a digital world (more so than ever now).
That doesn’t change a thing
We are hard wired to listen to stories… To be inspired by them
We tell stories every day. To our friends. To our family. To ourselves.
They help us connect. Build relationships. Build communities. Build Tribes… And attract high quality clients, we want to do business with
Apple would not be the behemoth it has become, if Steve Jobs was not a great storyteller.
Tesla would not be the most valuable car company in the world, if Elon Musk was not a great storyteller
You don’t have to be a Hemingway or a JK Rowling to write great stories.
You can write them in 30 minutes a day or less when you know how…
